Faught studied under painters Aaron Smith, David Luce and Michael Hussar who were early influences on her work. Faught has been a full-time fine artist since 2005, showing at museums and galleries, working on commissions, and raising her three children with her husband, guitarist Adam Jones, in Los Angeles, California. She continues to be influenced by old school portrait painters like John Singer Sargent.
